Tim Perkis is back in town. He ran a magnificent slow down of Lesley Gore  at sssshhhh! that we are presenting to you here as a frenetic animated gif. Meta.

Keith Evans took over The Sealed Room, which we now realize the library calls the Family Study Room. To us, it will remain The Sealed Room. His installation was based on interlocking systems of phonograph, leaves, glass vase, television, video camera, projector, and stretched scrim over the room entrance.

Kal axed illCorr Department of Public Works to light up the closing party of the 3rd annual Oakland Underground Film Festival. He hamstrung us with a theme: Bruce Lee. He inspired us with greatness: Punk Funk Mob and Oakland Faders.

Fine.

The crew will be small and mighty:

and we’ll feature work from phog masheen with William Alma in addition to the fighting melange.

Don’t miss.
